To: Anyone who still has some of those old plastic toys–the cowboys, Indians, horses, etc.
Re: The movie that was made with same
Wacko. That’s all I can say. Wacko. And, how charming are our fellow human beings who can spend so much time–weeks, months!–putting together something as totally silly as this loveable but, well, wacko movie.
See, here’s how it is in PlasticVillage: Horse, Cowboy and Indian live together in a capacious house, across the road from Farmer and Mrs. Farmer, and all Les Animaux. We are in FrenchLand, by the way. Is Horse’s Birthday! Party time! But, sly villains STEAL THE WALLS OF HORSE’S HOUSE! Our heroes pursue them to the EARTH’S CORE! But not to worry, as all ends well, and everyone lives happily ever after.
Interesting points about the film:
1. Cowboy and Indian speak in squeaky voices, whereas Horse speaks in a more manly tone. Madame Longée, Horse’s charmer (a mare with the pink mane who teaches music at L’Ecole) has a seductive lady voice. The farmer bellows.
2. The animals and people all have of course, les cell phones. Horse dutifully answers his even when engaged in life threatening shenanigans near the earth’s core. A real gentleman!
3. Their computers are old style, but very serviceable
4. That was Some Party that Cowboy and Indian threw for Horse! Hot band, open bar—and whoa! When Horse and Mme. Longée start dancing, some Hot Action there!
